Lady Amherst's pheasant neck feather - 6-8 cm - 10 pieces - metallic green
Lady Amherst's pheasant is a bird from China, thus a little colony lives in England after escaping. The male has a particularly elaborated plumage, very useful for mating parade. It effectuate fast cercles around the female, as it would like to keep it there then comes quickly near it and makes a sort of bow to present the beautiful feathers of its back. Nice feather with thin vaporous grey down and a round metallic green end, like a petal, it's just perfect on announcement card, as a little fan on a hat or for table decoration.
