Lady Amherst's feather - 1 piece - 6-8 cm - red headed
Lady Amherst's pheasant is a bird from China, thus a little colony lives in England after escaping. The male has a particularly elaborated plumage, very useful for mating parade. It effectuate fast circles around the female, as it would like to keep it there then comes quickly near it and makes a sort of bow to present the beautiful feathers of its back. It's a kind of rare feather, the bird doesn't have many of it. It's a little feather with a lot of grey down and a little flame at the end.
