Himalayan Snowcock - 2-3 cm - 1 pc - black copper redDespite its compact aspect, it belongs to the pheasant family. Its plumage allows it to stay unseen in the rocky areas of the mountains where it lives, between the limit of the trees and the desert zone of eternal snows above. It feed only on plants and it's widespread in whole Asia. Strictly monogamous, it's the only male pheasant that take care of its offspring like the female. That is a little compact feather too, with a rare color : matt black with copper shades.
